Obituary

Brimfield: Lynne M. (Elias) Anctil, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 9th, in the UMass Memorial Health-Harrington, Southbridge, after a cardiac event.

Her husband of 15 years, Roy L. Anctil, passed away on Jan. 28th of this year. She leaves her two daughters, Lisa M. Fleming of Chicopee and Julie M. Bouchard and her husband Rich of Fiskdale; her two step sons, Corey L. Anctil of Southbridge and Matthew R. Anctil of New York, NY; her brother, Gary Elias and his wife Sandra of Alpharetta, GA; her three sisters, Debra Dice and her husband Michael of Chicopee, Donna Bealand and her husband Arthur of Springfield and Lisa Gartland and her husband Kevin of Mansfield; her partner, Mark Manthorne of Brookfield; her six grandchildren, Ashleigh Bouchard, Anthony Bouchard, Adalynn Bouchard, Ryan Fleming, Cadence Fleming and Elijah Anctil; her godchild, Jaimie Lyn Angelucci; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws and extended family. She also leaves her beloved dog, Jake. She was predeceased by her sister, Laurie Lavin. Lynne was born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Michael G. and Dorothy M. (Spiriti) Elias.

Lynne worked as a HR Manager for Southbridge Savings Bank in Southbridge for many years, retiring several years ago. She enjoyed playing cards and belonged to the Southbridge Pitch League for nearly 30 years. She also enjoyed going to the casino to play her favorite slot machines. Above all she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, Sitto, sister and friend. She kept us laughing hysterically with her misconstrued antics. "Want to share some buffalo wings?" "Eh, I dont think I like buffalo?!" Her memory will be cherished by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by many.

Calling hours for Lynne will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 7:00pm. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Mass./RI Chapter, 220 North Main St., Suite 104, Natick, MA 01760.
