Southbridge : Marcel H. Remillard, 90, formerly of Dresser Hill Rd., passed away on Monday, Jan. 27th, in the Webster Manor Nursing Home, after a long illness.

His wife, Estelle (Morneau) Remillard, passed away in 2022.  He was predeceased by his son, Jeffery Remillard.

Marcel leaves his four sons, Paul Remillard and his wife Judy of Southbridge, David Remillard of Sturbridge, James Remillard of Southbridge and Jason Remillard and his wife Erin of Wales; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.  He was also predeceased by his two brothers, Maurice Remillard and  Henry Remillard and his sister, Rita Cloutier.  He was born in North Grosvenordale, CT the son of Aldei and Rose Amanda (Paquette) Remillard.

Marcel worked at the American Optical Co. for 20 years.  He later went on to work for himself in his true calling in carpentry for many years.  He was a very patient person and a great husband and father.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service for Marcel in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge, will be private.  There are no calling hours.

The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
