Charlton: Maria (Belanger) Osborn, 75, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, June 20th, after a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 55 years, James B. Osborn, Sr.; her son, James B. Osborn, Jr. of Dudley; her three daughters, Valerie M. Osborn of Charlton, Victoria J. Boucher and her husband Jason of West Wareham and Vanessa H. George and her husband Matthew of Spencer; and her six grandchildren, William Boucher, Joseph Boucher, Cameron George, Samuel George, Kaylee George and Hannah George.  She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Belanger.  Maria was born in Webster the daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn (Angelo) Belanger. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School in Webster.

Maria was a devoted wife and mother and had a strong love for her lord and savior Jesus Christ.  She enjoyed working in her flower garden.  Her greatest enjoyment was to spend time with her family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Accord Adult Day Care for all of the care and compassion they gave to Maria during her illness.

A funeral service for Maria will be held on Wednesday, June 25th, at 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton.  There are no calling hours.
