Sturbridge: Marjorie K. (Brown) Moniz, 91, of Westwood Dr. passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 12th, after an illness.

Her beloved husband of 64 years, Francisco B. Moniz, Jr., died in 2021. She leaves her four sons, Francisco B. Moniz, III and his wife Mary of Fultonville, NY; Christoper J. Moniz and his wife Carmen of Fairfax, VA, Michael E. Moniz and his wife Kathleen of Rolesville, NC and James L. Moniz of Sturbridge; her eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Marjorie was born in Brighton, MA the daughter of James L. and Catherine (Mutch) Brown.

She was a passionate volunteer who used her talent to design and make costumes for Old Sturbridge Village as well as quilts and prayer shawls for St. Anne's St. Patrick's Church in Sturbridge.  Marjorie was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and an active member of St. Anne's St. Patrick's Church in Sturbridge.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, July 23rd, from 10:00 to 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am.  Burial to follow in North Cemetery, Sturbridge.
