Fiskdale: Mary (Langlois) LaFrance, 68, of Main St., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1st, at UMass Memorial Hospital – Harrington Hospital, Southbridge Campus, after a brief illness.

She leaves her beloved husband of 22 years, Jerome LaFrance; her two sons, Mike Derusha and his girlfriend Cary of Dudley MA, and Loren Derusha and his wife Candice of Kentucky; her two daughters, Michelle Derusha and her fiancé Jesus of Kentucky and Melissa Norris and her husband Dan of Nebraska. Three brothers, Major Thomas J. Langlois (ret.) and his wife Denise of Jacksonville, NC, John M. Langlois and his wife Donna of Millbury MA, Wayne Langlois and his wife Michelle of Pooler, GA, and her sister, Gail Ton and her husband Larry of Uxbridge MA. She leaves three grandchildren, Dandre Derusha, Mikaylah Blakney, and Derick Derusha; her sister-in-law, Dodie Langlois of Auburn MA, and her stepmother, Aline Langlois of Holiday FL. Mary was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel A. Langlois and James Farrell, Her stepfather Francis Farrell, and her Mother Dorothy (Peterson) Farrell of South Grafton. She also leaves behind eleven nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in Woonsocket, RI the daughter of the late Romeo J. Langlois and Dorothy G. (Peterson) Langlois.  She graduated from Grafton high school and attended Quinsigamond Community College.  Mary worked for many years as a sales representative for several large corporations, the last one being Deluxe Corporation in Townsend, MA.   She loved traveling to the beach and enjoyed her time at the ocean.  Her love of dogs was enormous. Mary loved caring for others and was a cherished family member who loved spending time with her family and friends.

Calling hours for Mary will be held on Sunday, April 12th, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge MA, with a service to follow at 4:00 pm in the funeral home.  Burial in Holland Cemetery, Holland MA, will be private at a later date.
