Charlton: Michael Richard Swenson, 53, of Northside Rd., sadly left us suddenly on March 8th, while at home. Michael is survived by his daughter, Taylor Laramee and her husband Tim Laramee their son Jack; his son, Matthew Swenson and his fiancée, Emilie Center; his youngest son, Jeffrey Swenson; wife and friend Andrea Swenson, all of Shrewsbury.  He also leaves his parents, Richard W. and Joyce E. (Fields) Swenson of Charlton; his sister, Sharon L Sage and her husband, Douglas H Sage of Charlton; nephew, Michael D Sage and fiancée Michelle Rogers of Southbridge; niece, Alysha R. Sage and fiancé, William Farnsworth of Westerly, RI and many aunts, uncles and friends.

Michael was a lifelong resident of Massachusetts. He was born in Worcester and was raised in Holden.  Mike was loved by all who knew him.  He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden where he played football. Mike played the drums and enjoyed playing in a band.  He owned and operated Swenson Painting Company doing commercial painting in the New England area. Mike was known for his awesome sense of humor and could bring laughter in the worst of situations.  He adored his family and was over the moon about his first grandchild, Jack.  Mike enjoyed music and seeing concerts, especially Dave Mathews Band. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and working on his truck.  Above all, Mike's family was most important in his life. He will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 14th from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Post Office Pub Restaurant, 1 Ray St., North Grafton, MA 01536. Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.  There are no calling hours.
