Molly
Morse
Oct 17, 2000 — Jan 25, 2022
Southbridge
Southbridge: H. Molly Morse, 21, of Southbridge, MA passed away unexpectedly January 25th, 2022. She was the beloved daughter of Pamela and Marshall Morse.
Molly was a 2020 graduate of Killingly High School (voag program), Killingly, CT. She was in the process of applying at Lesley University and was looking forward to attending in the Fall.
Molly was a beautiful young woman of small stature, but big personality. She was incredibly kind and learned early on that mean people wouldn't be her forte. If you were her friend, you were very fortunate. Molly had a great sense of humor and always laughed at jokes and was always smiling. She was a story teller; some true and some false and she enjoyed playing those who were unsuspecting. She loved dressing up and wearing fashionable clothing. One of her favorite places to dress up and go to was the Castle Restaurant, Leicester, MA.
Molly was great with small animals and enjoyed them immensely because the animals loved her back. She will be missed by her two favorite pets; Reeses, her cat and Peaches, her lovebird. Reeses was a stray and became trusting of Molly when she saw the cat in labor. Molly stayed with her throughout the delivery of four kittens and continued to feed and care for her and the litter. Reeses maintained the bond since then with Molly. Molly's absolute favorite pet was Peaches, her lovebird, who she got in January, 2005 when she was four. She promised to care for the bird if she was allowed to have it and she kept that promise. She never missed a day of caring for him. She loved that bird and he loved her right back. Peaches brought much joy to Molly flying in her room, playing in the shower, being taken for walks in a backpack on warm days, jumping into her long sleeved sweatshirts, tweeting and tickling her until finally popping out at her neck. She loved letting him loose with unsuspecting company and watching them duck for cover.
Her short 21 years here were a gift to many, including her parents and her siblings, Macey, Anna, Selena and Eric. In addition, she leaves behind the love of her life, Hector Ruiz, Jr. of Cambridge, MA; Grandparents Ernie and Peggy St Jean of Woodstock, CT; Uncle Mark and Aunt Jaime St Jean, cousins Jenna and Stephanie of Plainfield, CT; Uncle Mike and Aunt Patty St Jean and cousins Andrea St Jean of South Carolina, Ashley St Jean of Nashua, NH, Amanda St Jean of Manchester, CT; Aunt Karen (St Jean) and Uncle Ben Cooper, cousins Julia and Nathaniel of OH; Aunt Sher Morse of Spencer MA; Uncle Mitch Morse of NC. Molly also leaves behind her friend Izi Croke of Dayville, CT who she met at Killingly High. Molly was a hugger and if she hugged you, she loved you unconditionally.
In addition to college, Molly was looking forward to sharing her life with Hector and his entire family who she felt comfortable with immediately upon meeting (Sarah, Hector, Mary, Tomas, and their friend Markell), acquiring the courage to learn to drive, learning to make fudge (she was a natural salesperson) at O'Fudgeolicious, and spending time with her niece Maevelynne Grace due this year.
Molly was predeceased by her Grandparents Marvin and Theresa (Swirbliss) Morse; a cousin, Christopher St Jean, and her twin who was miscarried prior to Molly's birth.
A special thank you to Molly's birth mother, Tara. Without you we would not have known Molly.
Without a doubt, Molly is now hugging God and will forever be loved and missed.
Molly enjoyed our visits to Rhode Island Parrot Rescue, 2141 W Shore Rd, Warwick, RI 02889 and it would please her if you donate to them in her memory.
Burial will be private at Morse Neighborhood Cemetery, Southbridge, MA. A memorial service will be in the Spring.
The Daniel T Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA is directing arrangements.
