WORCESTER - Nancy Waron, passed away peacefully at The UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus,  in Worcester on May 6, 2024.

Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, Nancy was the daughter of Robert and Rita Karper. Nancy lived the last 21 years in North Andover, Charlton and Worcester Massachussetts.

Nancy leaves behind her sons, Mark Waron of Charlton and Eliot Waron of Florida; daughter, Beth Hennessy and her husband Daniel of Florida; three grandchildren, Robert Hennessy, Julia Hennessy and Max Waron. Nancy was predeceased by her husband Sol Waron.

Nancy was a bright student and a gifted singer who sang at Lincoln Center in NY. She later graduated with a BA in English from City College of NY and became an elementary school teacher. Nancy married her soulmate Sol, they began their family and a 36 year life in Fair Lawn NJ. Nancy was an active mother, heading up the PTA and as a member of the True Sisters organization. Later, she acquired a certification in interior design.

Nancy was devoted to her family, she was a generous and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed music, literature, old movies, decorating and was a big fan of contemporary and modern art. Nancy had a great sense of humor and a big heart. She will be missed.

Nancy will be memorialized in a private service with her family.
