Southbridge: Nicholas A. Curboy, 42, passed away on Thursday, May 7th, after a long illness.

He leaves his two children, Lorelie 'Rue' Curboy and Blake Curboy, both of Southbridge; his parents, Dennis E. and Mary J. 'Tina' Curboy of Southbridge; his two brothers, DJ Curboy and his wife Cat of Holland and Nathaniel Curboy of Southbridge; his former wife, Nicole (Gonsorcik) Curboy of Southbridge; his two nieces Harper Curboy and Maeve Curboy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was born in Southbridge on Nov. 17, 1983.

Nick worked as a truck driver for many years. He started working as a music DJ when he became ill a few years ago. He did that until he became too ill to do it anymore. He also loved to experiment and cook in the kitchen. He truly loved cooking and entertaining his family and friends. He was always collecting recipes and such in order to do that.  He was an avid comic book collector.  He loved cars, especially his Jeep and Ford Mustangs.  Above all he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Calling hours for Nick will be held on Wednesday, May 13th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a service to follow in the funeral home at 7:00pm. Burial will be private.
