Charlton / Southbridge : Patricia A. (Fortier) Bishop, 76, of Freeman Rd., formerly of Southbridge, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 11th, in the St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a short illness.

Her husband, Roger G. Bishop, passed away in 2004.  She leaves her two daughters, Stacy A. Stevens and her husband Doni of Charlton and Gail E. Bishop Nessman and her husband Kevin of Maynard; her two granddaughters, Cady Stevens and Kyra Stevens of Charlton; her two brothers, David E. Fortier and his wife, Linda, of Hardwick, and Edward J. Fortier and his wife, Mary, of Westborough; her sister, Pamela T. Ouellette of Houston, TX; her seven nieces and nephews, Jody, Jenny, Marc, Chad, Stephanie, Gary and Amy; her goddaughter, Alex; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.  She was predeceased by her sister, Paula J. Turenne.  Pat was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Edward G. and Ann E. (Hay) Fortier.  She was a 1966 graduate of Oxford High School.

Pat was the office manager for Raynor Garage Door Co. in Worcester for 27 years, retiring 6 years ago.  Pat enjoyed cooking, playing scrabble and playing cribbage.  She was a movie buff and was intrigued by the paranormal.  She was known for telling stories and her love of Diet Coke.  But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with the loves of her life, her granddaughters.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18th, at 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18th, from 9:00 to 11:00am, prior to the service.
