Southbridge: Patricia A. (Blavackas) Poswiatoski, 76, of Alpine Dr., died on Friday, Sept. 16 ^th in Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT, with her loving family by her side.  Her beloved husband of 48 years, Edward A. Poswiatoski passed away in 2014.  She leaves her daughter, Wendy Normandin and her husband Jonathan of Monson; a son, John Poswiatoski and his wife Kathi of Wales; four grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Kelltin and Ashlinn.  Patricia was born in Worcester the daughter of John and Jane (Jakabauskas) Blavackas.  Patricia was an amazing mother, mother in law, grandmother, neighbor and friend.  Patricia's whole life was dedicated to her family and extended family.  Patricia never missed an event, game or celebration large or small if her children or grandchild were part of it she was there. Patricia enjoyed word searches, puzzles, Sunday dinners, holidays and decorating for every season.  She loved mailing cards for any and all occasions along with her "goodie bags"! Patricia was happiest when she was spending time with her grandchildren or hosting family picnics.  Patricia was always moving so even while she was resting and watching Judge Judy her loving hands were busy knitting warm hats, gloves and scarfs for children and families in need.  Patricia was a devoted catholic and faithful member of Notre Dame Church of St. John Paul II Parish in Southbridge.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22nd, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of St. John Paul II Parish, Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21st, from 5:00 to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John Paul II Food Pantry, 279 Hamilton St., Southbridge, MA 01550.
