Southbridge: Paula A. (Moriarty) Soper, 59, of Riverview Place, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 30 ^th , in the UMass Memorial Healthcare-Harrington, Southbridge, after a long illness.

She leaves her daughter, Jenna L. Soper and her fiancé Brandan Gregoire of Holland; her parents, Francis and Gwennyth (O'Grady) Moriarty of Southbridge; her two brothers, Stephen F. Moriarty and his companion Cindy Marino of Southbridge and Matthew J. Moriarty and his wife Terry of Charlton; her granddaughter, Alexis Gregoire of Holland; and many nieces and nephews.  She was born in Southbridge on June 20, 1963.  She was a 1981 graduate of Southbridge High School where she was on the high school field hockey, basketball and softball teams.

Paula was an executive assistant at Atlas Distributers in Auburn for 19 years.  She enjoyed working out and going for walks.  She enjoyed laying out in the sun.  She enjoyed dancing and her family called her the dancing queen.  Above all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 7 ^th , from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6 ^th , from 2:00 to 5:00pm.
