Southbridge: Richard E. Tiberii, 83, of North St., passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11th, in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a brief illness.

He leaves his partner of 47 years, Mark D. Monville; his son, Anon Panochit and his wife Mukda of Chaing Mai, Thailand; his two brothers, Joseph Tiberii and his wife Carol of Allentown, PA and their children Lisa Dupre, Donna Tiberii, Dario Tiberii; Russell Tiberii and his wife Patricia of Orlando, FL and their son Santino Tiberii; and several great nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Roger Tiberii. Richard was born in Southbridge, the son of the late Leo E. and Fernanda ‘Cam’ (Camilloni) Tiberii. Richard was a graduate of Worcester State College.

Richard had a long career in education, he began teaching in the Peace Corps in Thailand, a place he would go back to visit on a regular basis. He then taught at Charlton Elementary School. Richard would go on to teach science at Mary E. Wells Junior High School for most of his career, retiring several years ago. He touched many lives throughout his career.

After retiring Richard enjoyed antiques and collectables. He loved being out in nature and had a great love for animals.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring/summer of 2027. There are no calling hours.
