Southbridge: Ronald S. Sears, 72,  passed away on Saturday, Sept. 16th, in the Southbridge  Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, after an illness.

He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Jane Raymond.  He leaves his sister Shelly (Sears) Behan of Hinsdale, NH; his niece, Maria K. (Weidman) Muskus of Keene, NH; and his nephew, Anthony G. Weidman of Huntington, MA.  He was also predeceased by his sister Nancy J. (Sears) Weidman in 1999.  He was born in Westfield the son of the late Sydney H. and Margaret P. (Porter) Sears.  Ronald was a 1984 graduate of the University of New Hampshire.

Ronald was a manager for Sandri Sunoco in Greenfield, retiring several years ago.  He previously drove taxi.

A graveside service for Ronald will be held on Monday, Oct. 16th, at 12:00pm in the Russell Cemetery, Old Westfield Rd., Russell, MA.  There are no calling hours.
