Southbridge: Roy C. Wilson, 89, of Poplar St., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 1st, in UMass Memorial Medical-Harrington Hospital, Southbridge, after a short illness

His wife, Gloria J. (Asselin) Wilson, passed away in 2011.  He leaves his two sons, Bruce Wilson and his wife Theresa of Southbridge and Bryan Wilson and his wife Donna of Southbridge; and his two grandchildren, Joshua Wilson of Worcester and Melissa Wilson of Arizona.  He was predeceased by his step mother, Elizabeth Wilson.  He was born in Worcester the son of the late Calvin and Edna (Rosene) Wilson.  Roy was US Army Veteran of the Korean War era.

Roy owned and operated Floods Automotive in Southbridge for over 60 years.  Roy had his private pilot's license and loved to fly.  His other passion was spending time on his boat out of Old Saybrook, CT.

Roy's funeral service and burial in New Notre Dame Cemetery, Southbridge, will be private.  There are no calling hours.
