Charlton: Russell P. Carlson, 61, of Brookfield Rd., passed away on Monday, Nov. 6th, in his home after a long battle with cancer.

He leaves his longtime companion, Tina Richer; his mother and stepfather, Maureen F. (Drake) Ryczek and her husband Robert of Charlton; his sister, Karen Jansen of Charlton; his two nieces, Cassie Buck and Trish Fishwick; his nephew, John Leduc; and 5 great nieces.  He was born in Southbridge the son of the late Russell J. Carlson.  Russell was as graduate of Bay Path Regional Vocational High School in Charlton.

Russell worked in construction for many years. He worked for Paul Monaco Restoration and for Gaudet Building Exteriors.  He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.

Russell's funeral services and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge, will be private.  There are no calling hours.
