Sturbridge: Sallie M. Archambault, 78, of Holland Rd., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 23rd, in Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Southbridge, after a brief illness.

She leaves her two sons, Joseph W. Archambault and his wife Janet of Leicester and Michael P. Archambault of Worcester; her three cherished grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  Sallie was predeceased by her brother, Louis F. Meyer III and her ex-husband Roger A. Archambault this past February.

Sallie was born in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of Louis F. and Emily W. (Whitely) Meyer, Jr.

Sallie graduated high school and went on to receive her Bachelor's degree in accounting.  She worked for several years as an accountant at Rotman's Furniture in Worcester before retiring.  Sallie loved writing and was proud of the books she wrote and had published.

Funeral services and burial are private.  There are no calling hours.

Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
