Las Vegas, NV: Sandra (Lulli) Shaffer, 85, of North Las Vegas, NV passed away on September 17, 2024 after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Roger Shaffer, her daughter Dawna Mills and husband Kelly of Jackson, CA; a step daughter, Kelly Nash and her husband Brett of Cedar City, UT, her granddaughters Lindsay Ryan and her husband Casey of Jackson, CA; Kristy Mitchell of Southbridge and Kara Cardinale of Woodstock, CT.; and great grandchildren, Alyssa Santos of Southbridge, MA and Luke and Jake Ryan of Jackson, CA.  She was born in Southbridge the daughter of the late Italo and Helen (Kolat) Lulli.  Her son, Robert Mitchell passed away in 2022. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Gordon and Darryl Lulli.

Sandra began her work career many years ago at the American Optical Corporation and was promoted to a buyer position prior to relocating to California in 1982. She worked for several California companies including Lear Astronics as a senior purchasing manager.

Sandra always had a love of animals and once retired devoted much of her time to the Southern California Abyssinian Rescue group and the Humane Society. She fostered cats, many of them having disabilities and those that were unadoptable due to health issues. She had a huge heart for animals and was able to provide these special needs cats with a loving home. In addition, Sandra volunteered at a local cat hospital for many years.
