Sturbridge: Sandra F. Tetreault, 78, passed away on Sunday, May 19th, in the Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT, after a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 12 years, Bernard E. Tetreault; her beloved dog and constant faithful companion, Jasper Jacks; her two sons, Eric Burden and his wife Diane of Southbridge and Scott Burden of Dudley; her daughter, Jaime Hageman and her husband Adam of Palmer; her stepson, Scott Tetreault of Whitinsville; her step daughter, Sherry Trainque and her husband Bill of Rutland; her sister, Cheryl Pontbriand and her wife Lisa Pontbriand of Ayden, NC; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Southbridge and was the daughter of the late Roy and Roberta (O'Brien) Pontbriand.

Sandy worked in the office for the SCM Elderbus for over 10 years, retiring several years ago.  She previously worked for Southbridge Credit Union and Shawmut Bank.  She enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time with friends.

A funeral service for Sandy will be held on Tuesday, May 28th, at 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will be private.  A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Tuesday, May 28th, from 10:00 to 11:00am, prior to the service.
