Brewster: Sandra Zitka Twite, a longtime resident of Brewster, Cape Cod, passed away peacefully at Avita Memory Care in Newburyport, MA on February4th, 2022.   She was predeceased by her husband, James G Twite; Parents, William and Isabel Zitka and older sister Joan Zitka.

Sandra was born in 1935 and brought up in Southbridge, MA and graduated from Mary E Wells high school and Holyoke School of Nursing.  She then worked for a short time as a visiting nurse in Southbridge before moving to Brewster where she was the school nurse at Brewster Elementary School for many years.

Sandra and Jim belonged to many clubs and organizations too numerous to mention.  They also enjoyed traveling in and out of the country and spent most of their summers in "The Little Red Cottage" in Round Pond Maine.

Sandra is survived by her sister, Brenda Zitka St Germain and her Husband Armand of Sandown, NH; 2 nieces, Jenny St Germain Reuter and her husband John of Hampstead, NH; Kim St Germain Alexson and her husband Don of Blairsville, GA; and 2 Grand Nephews, Jason Reuter and his wife Jackie of Dover, NH.  And Jeffery Reuter of Manchester, NH.

She also leaves sister in-law Pat Twite Brooks and 2 nephews, Todd Brooks of Wareham, MA and Jay Brooks and his wife Julie of Brewster, MA and their 2 children, Marina and Will Brooks.

Sandra was a friend to many, never sitting still and always on the go.
