Southbridge: Sharon L. Laferriere, 64, of Edward St., passed away on Sunday, March 15 ^th , in the Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care, Southbridge, after an illness.

Sharon leaves her brother, Steven P. Laferriere and his wife Rita of Southbridge, Gordon J. Laferriere and his wife Zoraida of Wales; her sister, Kelley Carrington French of Boston, GA; her best friend, Susan Goneau Cole; many nieces and nephews and her beloved little dog, Skittles.  She was predeceased by her brother, Kevin D. Laferriere.  Sharon was born in Southbridge the daughter of Rene P. "Pete" and Dolores L. (LaPlante) Laferriere.

She was a 1974 graduate of Tantasqua High School.  Sharon worked for several years as a machine operator at Polymer Corporation in Palmer.  She was a member of the NEMT and enjoyed long rides and trips on her motorcycle.  Sharon loved horseback riding as well as competitive barrel racing.

Her funeral services and burial will be held and announced at a later date.  The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
