Southbridge : Stanley A. Bednarz, Jr., 80, of Upland Ave., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 4th, in Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center after an illness.

His beloved wife of 36 years, Nancy F. (Perron) Bednarz died in 2010.  He leaves his step son, Joseph L. Chenard and his wife Lee of Southbridge; a step daughter, Diana L. Landry and her husband Mark of Sturbridge; a brother, Bernard Bednarz of Dudley; his sister, Irene Gallant of Dudley; his six step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Stanley was predeceased by a brother, Paul M. Bednarz.

He was born in Webster the son of Stanley A. and Veronica A. (Balli) Bednarz, Sr.

Stanley worked for many years as a cable installer for Greater Media and later Charter Cable.  He served honorably during Vietnam in the United States Airforce.  Stanley was a computer guy and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox's

A Calling hour for Stanley will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 9 ^th , from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  A funeral service in the funeral home will follow at 11:00am.  Burial will follow in New Notre Dame Cemetery, Southbridge.
