Southbridge : Teresa L. (Colognesi) Ciesla, 91, of Hillside Drive., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29th, in Overlook Masonic Health Care, Charlton, after a brief illness.

Her beloved husband, Richard J. Ciesla died in 2007.  She leaves a son, Richard J. Ciesla, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Sun City West, AZ; a daughter Sharon E. Ciesla and her long-time companion James Ciprari of Dudley; a grandson Michael Ciesla and his fiancé Jen Johnson, a granddaughter Melanie Ciesla and her fiancé David Perez and two great grandsons, Isaiah and Julian.  Teresa was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Arsenault.

She was born in Southbridge the daughter of Ugo and Marianna (Tarquinio) Colognesi.  Teresa worked as an Executive Secretary for the American Optical Company in Southbridge for 25 years prior to retiring many years ago.   She had a passion for cooking for family and friends as well as working on her computer.  Teresa cherished her grandchildren and loved spending time with them as well as her beloved dogs.

A funeral service for Teresa will be held on Friday, March 25 ^th at 11:00 AM in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Friday, March 25 ^th , from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
