Southbridge : Theodore T. Robo, 80, of High St., passed away on Monday, Feb. 9th, in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a brief illness.

He leaves his beloved wife of 51 years, Dianne M. (Robert) Robo; his daughter, Regina Mae O'Brien and her husband Jesse of Arlington; his grandson, Grady Thomas O'Brien of Arlington; and his two brothers, Philip Robo of Leicester and James Robo of Hemet, CA. Ted was born in Worcester the son of Thomas and Mae (Buono) Robo.  He was a graduate of the former Assumption Prep School in Worcester.

Ted worked as a supervisor in quality control at Table Talk Pies in Worcester for many years, retiring many years ago.  He previously worked in produce sales.  Ted had a passion for refereeing.  He was a longtime basketball referee and was a member of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials.  He also was a football official with the Central Mass Football Association.  Ted was a member of the Amateur Softball Association.  He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus Detriana Council 199 in Southbridge.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00am in St. Anne Church, 16 Church St., Sturbridge.  Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery, Sturbridge.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Monday, Feb. 16th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
