Dudley: Theresa E. (Mongeau) Blair, 89, of Dresser Hill Rd. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 14 ^th ,  in her home after an illness.

Her husband of 63 years, Gerald J. Blair, Sr., passed away in 2019.  She leaves her son, Gerald J. Blair, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Southbridge; her daughter, Sue M. Mellor and her husband Steve of Southbridge; a granddaughter, Sarah A. Blair; and three great grandchildren, Pandora, Harley, and Vinny Fugno.  She also leaves her sister, Irene Grigas of Ware and her sister-in-law, Theresa Mongeau of Ware.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Becky Sue Mellor in 2015.  She was also predeceased by her two brothers, Maurice Mongeau and John Mongeau and her sister, Margarite Wvovik.  Theresa was born in North Brookfield the daughter of Wilfred and Lucinnie (Flammond) Mongeau.

Theresa worked at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge for many years, retiring in 1987.  She previously worked for Ware Knitters, Levi Strauss and Motorola.  Theresa enjoyed shopping and trips to the casino.  In her youth she enjoyed roller skating and dancing.  She also enjoyed going to the bowling alley to watch her husband and son bowl. Most of all she enjoyed taking care of her family and spending time with them.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, Sept. 19 ^th , at 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.  A calling hour in the funeral home will be held from 10:00 to 11:00am on Monday, Sept. 19 ^th , prior to the service.
