Southbridge:  Theresa A. (Hufault) Lukowski, 97, of Maria Ave., passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 12th, after an illness.

Her beloved husband, Ignatius W. Lukowski died in 1998.  She leaves her two sons, Mark W. Lukowski and his wife Elaine of Charlton and Robert A. Lukowski and his wife Cheryl of Danielson, CT; her two daughters, Jeanne M. Marcucci and her husband Gabriel of Thompson, CT and Diane M. Noga and her husband Mark of Southbridge; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Theresa was predeceased by a son, James N. Lukowski in 2005; a daughter, Deborah A. Sholes in 2020; three brothers, Lionel "Nel" Hufault, Armand Hufault, Raoul "Ray" Hufault and two sisters, Gloria Goudreau and Imelda Prosperoni.

Theresa was born in Scituate, RI the daughter of Hormidas and Rosilda (St. Martin) Hufault.  She worked for 30 years as a Lens Inspector for the American Optical Company in Southbridge prior to retiring.  She was a devoted Catholic and loved her former church St. Hedwig's in Southbridge and love attending Mass at St. Joseph's in Charlton and also watching Mass on TV.   Theresa loved to travel and enjoyed attending plays in New York and New Jersey.  She enjoyed shopping and crossword puzzles.  Above all she cherished spending time with her family.

Theresa's funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 16th, at 11:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton.  Burial in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Southbridge, will be at the convenience of the family.  Calling hours in St. Joseph's Church will be held on Friday, June 16th, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, prior to the Mass.
