Obituary

Holland: Wil Joseph Sweny, 38, of Over the Top Rd. Holland, passed away on Friday, January 27th. in UMass Memorial Hospital, Lake Ave. Campus in Worcester after a brief illness.

He leaves his mother, Carol (Katzman) Sweny-Reppucci of Holland, his brother Travis J. Sweny of Webster, his father, Timothy J. Sweny and his wife Pamela of Holland, brothers Jon Sapaugh and his partner, Marie of Mansfield, CT., Tyler Sapaugh of Mill Valley, Ca. and his sister Alyson Sapaugh of Palmer.

Wil was born on April 5th., 1984 in Berkeley, California.  He worked for Fed Ex Ground in Ct. for 16 years beginning as an entry level loader and working his way up to Operations Manager.  He was a dynamic leader who led his team to record breaking excellence

Wil was also an avid outdoorsman who recently fulfilled his dream of living off the grid in Northern, California.  Wil enjoyed playing games with his family and friends, movies, cooking Asian delicacies, disc golf and spending time on the lake, swimming, fishing and canoeing.  He was also an enthusiastic Celtics fan.

Wil had a huge heart and was the favorite uncle of family and friends alike.  He adored his nieces and nephews and loved playing and spending time with Kylie, Cosmo, Julius, Jamo and Emmy.

Wil was extremely intelligent, funny and witty and kept us all laughing!  He was charming, charismatic and filled the room with his energy, warmth and love.  His enthusiasm and affection knew no bounds and cast a wide net beyond family and friends to include all who came within his sight.

Wil had an adventurous spirit and was driven to try new experiences.  We wish our phenomenal son and brother all our love in his travels, until we are together again.
