Southbridge: Wladyslawa (Wojtyto) Kadziewicz, 101, of Old Sturbridge Rd. passed away on Wednesday, April 27 ^th , at home with devoted family members and her loving nurse, Ann Marie, at her side.

Her husband, Waclaw Kadziewicz, passed away in 2001 and her son, Stanislaw Kadziewicz passed away in 1992.  She leaves her daughter, Teresa Kadziewicz and her husband Mark Silvestris of Rutland; her two beloved grandchildren, Stephanie Silvestris and Matthew Silvestris, both of Rutland; her sister, Catherine Labuda of Southbridge; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by four sisters, Janina Mikina, Stefania Mika, Stanislawa Mekal and Katazyna Wojtyto who died at an early age.  She was born in Klyz, Poland the daughter of Wojciech and Zofia (Janeczek) Wojtyto.  She came to the United States with her husband and children in 1966.

Wladyslawa worked at the Russell Harrington Cutlery Co. in Southbridge for many years, retiring in 1986.  After retiring she worked parttime at the Salvation Army Store in Southbridge.  In recent years she was a member of St. Andrew Babola Church in Dudley.  She was formerly a member of St. Hedwig's Parish in Southbridge for many years and a member of its Holy Rosary Sodality.  Wladyslawa enjoyed gardening and gardened till the age of 97.  She enjoyed cooking, especially Polish dishes.  She also enjoyed sewing and knitting.  Most of all she enjoyed her time spent with her grandchildren whom she adored.

The family extends a special thank you to her loving nurse Ann Marie and to the compassionate Ascend Hospice caregivers.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 3 ^rd , from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 247 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge.  A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Tuesday, May 3 ^rd , from 9:30 to 10:30am, prior to the Mass.
